Può un profumo

creare una strada?

Sei bianco,

odori di stelle

che nessuno ha annusato mai.

Per la botanica

sei un gelsomino falso

ma è in ciò che si cela

la scoperta dell’impossibile.

di realtà.

Can a scent

create a street?

You’re white,

with scents of stars

which no one’s ever smelled.

In botanical terms

you’re a star jasmine

but this is where the discovery

of the impossible lies.

How many times

have I wandered into

going beyond

the first level

of reality.

I climb aboard your propellers:

will you bear me towards the truth?
